Earlier this week, the Maryville City Council approved the purchase of a new 20-21 Ford Police Interceptor SUV for the police department.
City Manager Greg McDanel says this replaces a vehicle that was totaled in a pursuit and collision back in January.
The total cost of the vehicle was nearly 39,000 dollars.
